We've gone Solar!
On Friday, August 3rd, 2007, we went live with a new 25 kW solar power generating system at our Washington office. This system will produce 70% of the electricity we use annually. Fire Mountain Solar, the company who designed and installed our grid-tied system, calculated the net reduction in grid energy usage is equivalent to saving 53,156 pounds (24 metric tons) of CO2 emissions per year. We are proud to have taken this step to further demonstrate CF Fresh's commitment to environmental sustainability by investing in clean, renewable solar energy.
